Phillip Gruenemay is an American History Researcher at Amending America. Phillip, a lifelong resident of Bothell, Washington, is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, Bothell with a Bachelors in Media & Communication Studies. Among his many interests is American History, where he feels that some of the most interesting periods of American History are the seemingly uneventful ones (such as the Era of Good Feelings and the Gilded Age of the late 1800s). Phillip has been fortunate to have the first of his three research papers on the influence of then-current sociohistorical events on select silent movies from 1895 to 1927 by the UW Campus Research & Observational Writings (or CROW) Journal in June of 2024, with the other two hopefully soon to follow. In his spare time, Phillip enjoys reading, watching movies & TV shows, and playing video games.
